Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam JSC is pleased to announce the signing of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Marubeni Green Power Vietnam, utilizing solar power generation facilities on the roofs of our factory warehouses located in Thai Nguyen Province. This agreement is expected to result in an annual reduction of approximately 610 tons of greenhouse gas emissions.

Furthermore, this project is part of the Ministry of the Environment’s “Facility Subsidy Project within the FY2023 Bilateral Credit System Support Program” (*), and will be implemented with the cooperation of the Vietnamese and Japanese governments.

Morinaga Milk Industry Group aims to reduce the environmental impact of its entire supply chain and is working to address environmental and social issues affecting the supply chain, such as minimizing greenhouse gas emissions from the supply chain, with the goal of achieving carbon neutral by 2050.

Morinaga Nutritional Foods Vietnam JSC will continue to pursue energy-saving activities and the utilization of renewable energy in alignment with the Morinaga Milk Group’s policies, contributing to greenhouse gas reduction.
